The Catalyst

Tragedy struck in October 2020 when Sharnay lost her beloved grandmother, Joann Lavern Sears, to a fatal heart attack that led to cardiac arrest. This profound loss served as the catalyst for the Panaam Heart Association. Combining her ten years of experience, a passion for service, a drive for learning, and a deep dedication to cardiology, Sharnay built the foundation for a premier medical emergency training company.

Panaam Heart Association officially launched on June 6, 2025, initially operating as a fully mobile safety training organization. Expanding to meet growing demand, the association acquired its first physical location in Virginia Beach in August 2026, offering students a dedicated space for hands-on skills testing and in-person lectures.
